You will die

Every soul will taste death. Only Allaah is the One who is the Ever-Living. The one who does not die. There is not a soul on the planet who will not die. Everyone will taste death. Then Allaah will recompense us. A group will make it to Paradise; a group will burn in the Fire.

Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.

[Qur'aan 3:185]

This world is worth nothing. Everything here will perish. Even the pleasures of this world are transient. One day you delight; the next day you cry. A place the size of a whip in Paradise is better than all that is in this world.

It was narrated from Sahl bin Sa’d that the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said:

"A place the size of a whip in Paradise is better than this world and everything in it."

[Sunan Ibn Maajah Hadith No. 4330]

Give up the temporary pleasures of this world for the everlasting bliss of the next world. Believe in Allaah, His Messengers, His Books, and the Last Day. Do to others what you would like them to do to you; earn the ever-lasting gardens of Eden.

'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As (May Allah be pleased with them) said:

The Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "He who desires to be rescued from the fire of Hell and to enter Jannah, should die in a state of complete belief in Allah and the Last Day, and should do unto others what he wishes to be done unto him."

[Sahih Muslim]

When you put your finger in the sea and take it out, what do you get? Compared to the vastness of the sea you get nothing on your finger. That is the example of this world compared to the next. Be among the wise. Be among the pious. Be among the slaves of Allaah and inherit the Paradise He has created for you.

al-Mustaurad bin Shaddad (May allah be pleased with him) reported:

Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) said, "This world (i.e., its pleasures and duration) in comparison with the Hereafter is (similar to the amount of water) one gets when he puts his finger in the sea. Let him then see what it returns with".

[Sahih Muslim]
