Do not choose the next world

Do not be from the ones who love the worldly life as opposed to the next life, those who give it preference and put it before the next world. The ones who work for this worldly life, forget the next world, and throw it behind their backs, they are the ones in extreme loss.

The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allah , seeking to make it (seem) deviant. Those are in extreme error.
